Rep. Gus Bilirakis Cosponsors English Language Unity Act

Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) has cosponsored H.R.997, the English Language Unity Act, in the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Bilirakis is a longtime supporter of official English legislation.

Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) is the main sponsor of the bill in the U.S. House, and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) is the main sponsor of the bill in the U.S. Senate.

The passage of the English Language Unity Act in Congress will save Americans billions of dollars every year in current, government-mandated translation and interpretation costs, and also will encourage cultural and linguistic integration by new arrivals to our nation.
