Georgia Resident Promotes Ballots Only In English
Scott Chadwick of Marietta, GA, recently had a letter published in the Marietta Daily Journal in which he promoted ballots that are printed only in English.
In Chadwick’s letter, he noted: “Printing ballots in Spanish as well as English adds substantially to the cost of holding elections.”
Chadwick further advocated: “It is, and should be, the responsibility of any individual seeking to vote in the United States to be able to speak, read, and write the language of the country in which they seek to influence the laws, policies, and politics.”
