Washington Times Editorial On The Decline Of A Common Language

The Washington Times has published a stirring editorial about how “[a] common language is the glue that holds a culture together.”

The Times editorial laments “the jarring story of a radical transformation of tongues” in the USA, and states that in California “the mother tongue [English] is an orphan.”

The Times editorial rightly concludes that “[without] English, America would come to resemble the Tower of Babel.”
