Breitbart News Deputy Political Editor Amanda House recently interviewed ProEnglish Executive Director Stephen Guschov on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM Patriot.
House and Guschov discussed a variety of issues, including the recent Taco Bell case where a Spanish-speaking employee in Hialeah, Florida, refused to serve an English-speaking customer, and was later fired. House and Guschov also discussed ProEnglish’s five White House meetings with aides to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and how ProEnglish is urging President Trump to sign a new Executive Order to repeal former President Clinton’s Executive Order 13166 that requires federal funding recipients to provide costly foreign language translation and interpretation services.
A Bush 43 administration study estimated that these additional, government-mandated foreign language translation and interpretation services cost American taxpayers more than $2 billion a year.
House and Guschov also discussed the progress of the English Language Unity Act in the U.S. House and Senate.
