ProEnglish Salutes Georgia Co-Sponsors Of English Language Unity Act
ProEnglish salutes the 6 Georgia co-sponsors of HR 997 – The English Language Unity Act of 2017.
The 6 Georgia co-sponsors are Reps. Rick Allen, Earl Carter, Doug Collins, Drew Ferguson, Jody Hice, and Barry Loudermilk.
There are 63 total supporters of the English Language Unity Act in the United States House of Representatives right now.
HR 997 was originally authored by Rep. Steve King, who also made some very important floor remarks about the legislation, and the bill has added 62 co-sponsors since that time, for a current total of 63 House supporters.
HR 997 designates English as the nation’s official language of governmental operations and also establishes a uniform language requirement for the citizen naturalization process.
ProEnglish continues to engage House members on a daily basis on Capitol Hill as we seek to add even more co-sponsors to the English Language Unity Act.
If you live in Georgia and you see that your congressman is among the 6 co-supporters already listed above, then please be sure to thank him for his support of the English Language Unity Act.
If you live in Georgia and you do not see that your congressmen is among the 6 co-sponsors listed above, then please be sure to urge your congressman to become a co-sponsor of the English Language Unity Act as soon as possible!
It is also the very same message for everyone all across the USA: please support ProEnglish today, and also please urge your congressman, wherever you are located in the USA, to support HR 997 – The English Language Unity Act of 2017 – if he or she has not already done so!
