The English Language Unity Act of 2017 Picks Up 51 Cosponsors

Rep. Steve King’s bill, H.R. 997, The English Language Unity Act of 2017 has reached a milestone!  H.R. 997, now has 51 cosponsors, with the author of the bill, Rep. Steve King, the official English bill has 52 sponsors in Congress.

It designates English as the nation’s official language of governmental operations and establishes a uniform language requirement for the citizen naturalization process.
