Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee is the recipient of the ProEnglish Theodore Roosevelt American Unity Award for the 116th Congress. The ProEnglish award is given biennially to recognize a member of Congress whose leadership in working to preserve and protect the nation’s unity through our common English language best exemplifies former President Theodore Roosevelt’s commitment to American unity.
Sen. Blackburn has been a longtime, faithful supporter of the English Language Unity Act during her tenure in Congress, in both the House and the Senate.
ProEnglish greatly appreciates Sen. Blackburn’s tenacious advocacy of official English in the halls of Congress, and we heartily congratulate her on being named as the recipient of the ProEnglish Theodore Roosevelt American Unity Award for the 116th Congress.
