Sen. Tom Cotton Promotes RAISE Act & English Skills At Hillsdale College
Sen. Tom Cotton recently spoke at Hillsdale College’s 8th Annual Constitution Day Celebration.
In his speech, Sen. Cotton discussed a variety of immigration issues, and specifically promoted the RAISE Act, which he has sponsored, and which “will correct the flaws in the 1965 Act by reorienting our immigration system towards foreigners who have the most to contribute to our country.”
Sen. Cotton stressed how “English-language skills” would be an integral part of his newly-proposed, skills-based points system which is similar in style to the systems used in Canada and Australia.
