Today, ProEnglish published the survey results for the 2012 Congressional and Senatorial candidates.  ProEnglish sent surveys to candidates running for Congress in all fifty states.  The surveys asked the candidates to state their position on six different official English issues.  ProEnglish does not endorse candidates.  The responses from the candidates can be found on the ProEnglish website.

“We’ve received surveys from 25 different states, and from candidates in the Republican, Democratic, Independent and Libertarian parties,”  said ProEnglish Executive Director Robert Vandervoort.  “We think these surveys will help voters make better informed decisions about the candidates.”

“The issue of official English should be an easy one for every candidate to support.  According to Rasmussen Reports, 87% of Americans say they want English to be our official language.  On virtually no other issue will you find so many Americans, and from so many different backgrounds, in full agreement.”
