U.S. Rep. Clay Fuller Becomes 18th Cosponsor of H.R. 1772

ProEnglish is excited to announce that U.S. Representative Clay Fuller (R-GA-14) became the latest cosponsor of H.R. 1772,  a bill that would designate English as the official language of government operations.

ProEnglish has long supported the passage of H.R. 1772, the bill has grown to eighteen cosponsors since its introduction by Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL-4) in March 2025.

If passed, H.R. 1772 would potentially save billions in government-mandated translation and interpretation costs, while encouraging assimilation among new arrivals to our country.

The American people are in support of this policy, as a ProEnglish commissioned Rasmussen poll shows that 73% support codifying English as our national language.
